Dan founded Pantera Capital Management in 2003. He previously served as Head of Macro Trading and CFO at Tiger Management. Before Tiger, he served as Global Head of FX Options at Deutsche Bank in London and managed a global macro fund and derivatives trading units in North America and Japan at Bankers Trust. Dan began his career at Goldman Sachs as a Collateralized Mortgage Obligation trader. Dan graduated magna cum laude from Princeton University with a B.S. in Structural Engineering and received the Carmichael Prize for an outstanding thesis.
